About Us

Five guys from one hometown, scattered by chance and the whimsy of life across America, each in search of his own destiny…

Alex: A law student at Georgetown and extremely amateur performer, Alex enjoys looking at, thinking about, and planning to pursue girls far more than he seems to like being proactive in any way.  He also makes a mean margarita.

Chris: An M.D./M.A. student at the University of Michigan and occasional distiller of questionable substances, Chris is the group’s resident expert on everything you never thought you’d need to know, and he will be happy to educate you.

Raf: A grad student at Berkeley and unironic Frisbee player, Raf has yet to decide whether to use his charisma for good or for evil. Despite being the resident comp sci expert, he remains somehow the least geeky of the group.

Sam: A man of many hats, Sam (or “Spam” as everyone but his mom calls him – and her on alternate Thursdays) has been a civil servant, campaign manager, abolitionist, and both superhero and supervillain – a dual life that ended after he managed to discover his own secret identity, capture himself in a deadly trap, and escape at the last second. After that, both identities went into hiding. He does not play electric mandolin.

Tyler: Currently on hiatus from the world of education, Tyler has returned to our hometown of Ithaca, where he takes part in multiple performance groups, including *Results May Vary, which he directs. He likes candlelight, soft music, and moonlit walks on the beach. No, really. He does.

(Disclaimery stuff: All posts on this blog are put up without oversight, editing, or approval by other members of the blog and are frequently written while drunk or in class (or both). The opinions of one member of the group are not necessarily the opinions of the whole group. If you find yourself deeply offended by anything we post, remember that it’s the Internet and you don’t have to read if you don’t want. Other than that, please forward all complaints to Chris, all fan mail to Raf, all questions to Tyler, and any monetary donations to Alex. Thank you.)
